The meaning of Ithikhan in Qital and the original concept of Islamic Qital

Abstract
ABSTRACT:
The word " اَلْاِثْخَان"has been used in two places in the Holy Quran. Surah Anfal: 67 and Surah Muhammad: 4. This word is included in the words of Arabic literature which are rarely used or to be used in very special situations. Determining the meaning of the Qur'anic terms of this type requires careful observation, as from Prophet hood to Post –Prophecy, the language and interpretations of many Arabic texts had been changed and specified with the passage of time era.
It is worth noting that in both places this word clarifies the circumstances of the battles fought by Holy Prophet. And the delicacy of the situation is such that the possibility of having a profound effect on the entire system of thoughts and action as a result of a slight decrease or increase in meaning is very clear. There is also a strong possibility that the Islamic point of view about war and other aspects of war will be affected by its misinterpretations. The contemporary situation of abundance in killing and bloodshed in wars, which is against the Islamic perspective and ideology, this article describes the clear meanings of this word with the linguistic characteristics of that era, as well as the historical back ground of these verses, also discuss the interpretations of different renown Islamic scholars of different eras.KEY WORDS: War, Bloodshed, Holy Prophet, Post Prophecy, Arabic Literature
