We spend our lives according to these commandments including the rituals of worships as well as the daily life instructions and guidelines. A part of the above-mentioned commands is mentioned in Holy Quran, while a large part consists of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Many scholars have compiled these sayings and collected them in book form. A famous book in this series has been compiled by the famous scholar of the sixth century, Sheikh Abdul Ghani al-Maqdisi, under the name Umada tul-Ahkam. The importance of this book can be gauged from the fact that scholars have written valuable commentaries on it. The most famous commentary at present is that of Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Bassam. Al-Bassam has presented the commentary on this book in a beautiful scholarly manner. The article presents the style, methodology and the salient features of this commentary. It also describes the different perspectives of interpretations from these commandments by Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Bassam.
2025-06-30T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Al-Raheeq international research journal http://alraheeqirj.com/index.php/rirj/article/view/58تزکیہ نفس کانبوی منہج2025-04-17T13:01:46-04:00Dr.shakir Hussain Khanshakirhussaink24@gmail.com
Abstract:

In the practical life of a person, education and training, literature and morals, elevation of character, modesty in speech and tone, wisdom and piety, purity of heart and intellectual maturity are necessary for personality development. This creates universality in the human personality and man becomes capable of performing feats of far-reaching consequences.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged people to self-purify on many occasions. Self-purification leads a person from self-realization to God-realization.

Self-purification is based on the Book of Allah and the biography of the Prophet of Allah (PBUH). Thanks to them, self-purification and self-improvement are possible. Remember that faith is light and sin is darkness, faith enlightens the heart while sin darkens the heart.

Self-purification becomes even more important in the current environment of distractions, unrest, and the soul-shattering environment. There is a need to focus on the purification of the human soul in the light of the Prophet's life. And such historical events and traditions should be used, the study of which can reveal how Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to purify people. The writer has explained in detail in the presented paper ‘’The Prophetic method of self-purification,’’
2025-03-27T03:21:01-04:00Muhammad Farman Alvidrfarmanalvi92@gmail.com
Islam provides a comprehensive code of life, offering guidance on all aspects of human existence, including inheritance. The Quran and Hadith outline clear principles and rules for distributing a Muslim's wealth among their heirs after death. These divine guidelines ensure a fair and just allocation of inheritance, eliminating the need for speculation and ijtihad. Throughout history, Islamic scholars have unanimously agreed on the distribution of inheritance, with a consensus that orphaned grandchildren and great-grandchildren are not entitled to inherit from their grandparents. However, in 1961, Pakistan's Muslim Family Laws (Inheritance) introduced a contradictory provision, granting inheritance rights to orphaned grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This deviation from traditional Islamic jurisprudence has sparked debates among scholars, with some, like Javed Ahmed Ghamdi, arguing in favor of this provision. This study examines the Islamic principles and rules governing inheritance, the historical consensus among scholars, and the contemporary debates surrounding this issue, highlighting the need for a nuanced understanding of Islamic inheritance law.
2024-04-17T11:28:54-04:00Saleem Ullahsaleemullah.masroor@gmail.comDr Kaleem ullahkaleem@ulm.edu.pk
Abstract: This research review delves into the perspectives of Moulana Shabbir Ahmad Usmani regarding faith and deeds. Drawing from core Islamic sources namely the Qur’an, Prophetic traditions (Sunnah), and classical scholarly works the research develops a structured framework for spiritual resilience. As Muslims face rising levels of doubt, identity crises, and moral relativism, understanding the causes of religious deviation becomes critical. Through qualitative content analysis, this paper examines causes such as weak religious knowledge, immoral environments, and a lack of righteous companionship, and it outlines strategies rooted in Islamic tradition: supplication, Qur’anic engagement, righteous deeds, companionship of the pious, and eschatological awareness. The paper offers a bridge between classical scholarship and modern-day needs, providing practical guidance for educators, parents, scholars, and individuals seeking steadfastness in faith during tribulations.

Keywords: thabat, Islamic faith, spiritual resilience, religious deviation, Qur’an, Sunnah, fitnah, tawbah

2025-06-30T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2025 Al-Raheeq international research journal
