The study begins by defining inflation linguistically and technically, explaining how the continuous increase in the prices of essential goods and services affects individuals and societies. It highlights the impact of inflation on basic necessities, living standards, poverty, crime, and social stability.

The research discusses various forms and causes of inflation, including monopolistic practices, taxation, excessive dependence on imports, export policies, imported inflation, seasonal inflation, and monetary inflation. It also analyzes the situation of inflation in Pakistan, Arab countries, and Western countries, identifying both local and global factors that contribute to rising prices.

Special attention is given to the Islamic viewpoint regarding economic justice. The study examines the prohibition of monopoly (ihtikār), the role of zakat, and the distinction between zakat and taxation. Furthermore, it explores Islamic teachings concerning social welfare, fair trade, and economic responsibility.

The final section presents solutions to inflation derived from the Qur’an, the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the practices of the righteous predecessors. These solutions emphasize faith, gratitude, repentance, trust in Allah, avoidance of exploitation, social solidarity, payment of zakat, and ethical economic conduct. The study concludes that while inflation may result from economic and political factors, Islamic principles provide both spiritual and practical guidance for reducing its harmful effects and promoting economic stability and social welfare.
2025-12-31T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Vol. 4 No. 2 (2025): AlRaheeq International Research Journal (July-December) https://alraheeqirj.com/index.php/rirj/article/view/79 مبایعۃ الکفار ومقاطعتھم في التشریع الإسلامي 2026-06-26T13:58:34-04:00 Zaid Mohsin zm80819@gmail.com
Islam is a complete and comprehensive code of life that provides guidance across all dimensions of human existence. It addresses not only matters of faith and worship ('aqā'id wa 'ibādāt) but also offers detailed direction in worldly affairs and social transactions (mu'āmalāt). These transactions may broadly be divided into two major categories: first, those conducted among Muslims themselves, encompassing commercial exchange (bay' wa shirā'), marriage and divorce (nikāḥ wa ṭalāq), inheritance (mīrāth), and ethical conduct; and second, those involving interactions between Muslims and non-Muslims (ghayr muslimīn).

This article examines a specific dimension of the latter category, namely the Islamic position on trade engagement (mubāya'ah) and economic boycott (muqāṭa'ah) with non-believers (kuffār). The study begins by defining and conceptually delineating the term muqāṭa'ah (boycott) within its classical Islamic framework. It then proceeds to analyze the issue in light of the Prophetic Biography (Sīrat al-Nabī ﷺ) and the scholarly opinions of classical jurists and traditionists (fuqahā' wa muḥaddithīn). Finally, the article presents and evaluates the perspectives of contemporary Islamic scholars (mu'āṣir fuqahā') on this matter, offering a balanced and contextually grounded jurisprudential analysis.
2025-12-31T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Vol. 4 No. 2 (2025): AlRaheeq International Research Journal (July-December) https://alraheeqirj.com/index.php/rirj/article/view/82 مقتضيات الؤلاء والبراءفي العصر الحديث 2026-06-28T10:50:31-04:00 Syed Huzaifa Mehmood adnanpashajohar@gmail.com Ali Muhammad Samsam alimuhammadsamsam@gmail.com
Abstract

This study examines the Islamic banking system in the light of Islamic Sharia and highlights its role as a contemporary financial alternative to conventional interest-based banking. The research explores the concept, objectives, and operational principles of Islamic banking, emphasizing its foundation in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Islamic jurisprudence. It discusses the prohibition of Riba (interest) and the importance of financial transactions based on justice, transparency, risk-sharing, and ethical responsibility.

The study further analyzes the major modes of financing used by Islamic banks, including Mudarabah, Musharakah, Murabaha, Ijarah, and Salam, and evaluates their compliance with Sharia principles. It also addresses the challenges faced by Islamic banking institutions in the modern financial environment and examines their contribution to economic development and social welfare.

The research concludes that Islamic banking provides a viable and ethical financial framework that promotes economic justice, protects the interests of individuals and society, and aligns financial activities with the objectives of Sharia (Maqasid al-Sharia). It attempts to understand Hazrat Khalid ibn al-Walid’s practical war strategies in a systematic intellectual framework. The article makes it clear that military strategy is not limited to the battlefield alone, but is a fundamental element for success in various areas of human life. By highlighting the intellect, rapid decision-making, and military prowess of Hazrat Khalid bin Walid (RA), particularly in the context of the pivotal Battle of Uhud, this study underscores how an effective strategy can alter the course of events.

Furthermore, this paper examines the life, leadership qualities, and enduring impact of Hazrat Khalid bin Walid (RA) against the backdrop of both Islamic and global history, and explores the extent to which subsequent non-Muslim military commanders drew upon his strategic approaches. An important objective of the research is also to clarify how to apply these military principles in the modern era, so that Muslims can be guided by these principles not only in their military lives but also in their intellectual, organizational, and practical lives. Thus, this paper is an effort to harmonize the insights of the past with the success of the present and the future by establishing a historical, intellectual, and practical connection.
2025-09-09T02:39:22-04:00 Dr Haseen Bano khan b_haseen@yahoo.com
The Prophet of Peace, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, achieved remarkable success not only in the field of religious preaching but also in diplomacy and foreign relations. Throughout his twenty-three years of Prophethood, his fundamental strategy was to transform society by winning hearts rather than conquering lands through war or force. Those who accepted Islam experienced a deep sense of peace and security, which attracted even tribal leaders and elites to embrace or seriously consider the new social order. The Prophet ﷺ demonstrated exceptional tolerance and wisdom by granting time and space to those who sought reflection before making decisions. Although no formal diplomatic institutions existed during his era, treaties—especially defensive agreements—were conducted with clear principles of negotiation, trust, and mutual responsibility. The establishment and preservation of peace remained his foremost priority, as he believed that the true and lasting spread of Islam could only be achieved through moral integrity, justice, and peaceful coexistence.
2025-12-31T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Vol. 4 No. 2 (2025): AlRaheeq International Research Journal (July-December)
