قرآن مجید اور سیرت نبوی ﷺ میں ماحولیاتی امانت و توازن کا تصور عصر حاضر کے موسمیاتی بحران کے تناظر میں ایک تحقیقی مطالعہ
Abstract
Human beings have been appointed as vicegerents on earth by Allah, and natural resources have been given as a trust. However, industrial development, irresponsible consumption, and growing consumerism have led to environmental pollution, climate change, water scarcity, and smog problems. The Quran presents the environment not only as a scientific concern but also as a moral and spiritual responsibility, prohibiting corruption on earth, wastefulness, and extravagance, while encouraging moderation, gratitude, and contentment.
The life of Muhammad provides practical examples of environmental protection. He emphasized the protection of trees, kindness to animals, avoiding water wastage, and considered cleanliness as part of faith. According to Islamic teachings, the earth is an amanah (trust), and its protection is a religious and ethical duty of humanity. Sustainable solutions to environmental crises are possible through the guidance of Quranic principles and the prophetic model
